We work predominantly with synthetic precursors (polymers) to make materials which are reproducable, repeatable, have targeted enhanced properties and may be engineered to deliver specific geometries.
Our primary materials of choice are based on either phenolic resin or cellulose (rayon derivatives). We also do some work on PAN based carbons.
